So quite a few changes have occured since I last posted.  First, I've moved halfway across the country...second, I've tried my hand at some invitations, and third I'm engaged!

Something else really exciting that just happened is that envelopes.com is adding my save the date's to their wedding showcase (ya know...cause I used their envelopes)  Regardless, I'm having fun with all these paper crafts and I'm excited with becoming a regular at JoAnn's and Michael's again :)  Sorry; it's true, I do keep buying out a particular paper pattern!

One of my besties is having a jungle themed baby shower coming up that I can't attend; so I'm sending along a baby tree and leafing my print.  I can't wait to do this tree because I can incorporate some cute jungle animals and I won't have any restrictions because it's my gift! So excited to share it with you all!

Today is my GOLDEN Birthday!  Yippee!  It's kind of mixed emotions because as I'm reminded time and time again, its my last year in the 20s and there's so much more I need to do.  I'm a very private birthday celebrator so its odd that I'm announcing on my blog that it is my birthday.  My philosophy is that if you know its my birthday then there's a reason, I shouldn't have to remind you...unless your name is Jessica and then I have to remind you again and again :) but that's ok, you get the general time of the month!  I always think that I should remove my birthday from Facebook just to see who really knows when it is my birthday.  

Either way, the real reason why I'm posting today is because I got an email this morning from someone and they told me that they had to check my blog, so Amanda-this post is for you.  Filled with unnecessary fluff!

I'm so excited to reveal the Baby Tree in addition to the Wedding Tree.  This was a custom job for someone and it has now sprawled into the cutest little print I ever did see.  This family will have such a cute keepsake for their nursery and the guests to this Baby Shower will have lots of fun building the tree with their thumbprints.  If you're interested in ordering, please visit the Wedding Tree link or the contact me page

So I had a soccer tournament last weekend and it was an absolute rush to get the shirts done.  At first we had just called it a loss and decided to give up on having shirts with our logo on it...then all of a sudden our printer came through and saved the day!  Here's my logo design for the team.   The biggest challenge was the contradictory term, I mean...fire/penguin, hot/cold, cute/mean, you get it.  Anyways, I'm very pleased with how it turned out!  I'm also pleased to state that this is my own penguin and not insipired by anything other than a real life penguin.  Let me know what you think!

Holy moly, this sickness will not go away!  I've already exceeded a full week of blah, gross, sickness.  I'll break through soon!  Stay tuned :)

(oh and I got my iPhone...yay! Too sick to even play with it, ah)

Whenever I'm sick, I always think of that Friends episode where Monica is sick and preaching about being in the "Primb of Libe."  I barely remember what happens in the episode other than them constantly mocking her nasal vocab.  Anyways, that's how I feel, sick and in the "Primb of Libe."  This weather change always does it; I hope I feel better soon because I need to get some sunshine and motivation!!!  I'm barely even excited for my iPhone to show up tomorrow...alas, I'll be giddy when it gets here :)

She really is a tease!  We've been given the taste of summer, spring, and beyond in these past 4 days only to look at the 10 day forecast and see a whopping 55 high in 2 days.  Can you believe it!  55!  After 91 2 days ago, that's obviously almost a 50% drop and is going to cause chaos around here.  At home we were contemplating turning the A/C on, but the rule is 7 days of above 80 degrees and then we can start that puppy up.  I'm glad I held off!  

But seriously people, we all know what this is...its Global Warming.  There are people in my immediate family that don't understand the concept and let me spell it out for you, the name is misleading.  Global Warming only means the weather will hit the extremes.  Bad winters, bad summers, and nothing makes sense anymore.  What else explains this odd weather we've been having throughout the entire world?  Global Warming does not mean that we won't have winter anymore, it means that we're going to get more snow sometimes or we're going to have unseasonably warm weather.  AND I don't care how much you complain, we had a warm winter!  The point is, we can't explain or anticipate the weather anymore.  

That's my bit, Global Warming is real.  I'll try not to be so opinionated in the future :)

I stole my title line from my dear friend Jessica; yes the very one featured in the Wedding Tree.  She's a teacher and has this knack for making up great sayings to engage her students.  You wouldn't believe all the phrases she can transform into a "thumb" word!  Regardless, this very print has created a fun buzz with Wedding Thumbprint Trees.  I think they're fun to partake in as a guest and fun to look at.  Jessica is still looking at hers on the wall daily.
